Caramel Apple #BarHack Recipe

Just when you thought our new Mini bar flavors couldn't get yummier...introducing #BarHacks! Let's celebrate fall by making the delicious Autumnal flavors of our Apple Cinnamon Mini bars even tastier by covering them in homemade vegan caramel. Caramel Apples just got upgraded!⁠

Here's how to make about 1/2 cup Vegan Caramel:
1 cup brown sugar⁠
4 tablespoon dairy-free milk (we added organic soy milk⁠)⁠
8 tablespoon dairy-free butter⁠
1 teaspoon vanilla extract⁠
optional: a pinch of sea salt⁠

1. Add the brown sugar, dairy-free milk, dairy-free butter, and salt (if desired) to a saucepan on medium heat. ⁠
2. After five minutes, or when the contents are thick and begin to bubble, turn off the stove and add the vanilla extract.⁠
3. Pour the caramel over your Apple Cinnamon Mini Granola Bars and enjoy your Caramel Apple Bar Hack! For extra festive fun, insert popsicle sticks into the bars before dipping in caramel.⁠
4. This caramel can be kept refrigerated for up to a week.⁠
